Michelle Morales of the NBHRN delivered a check to Dr. Ché Paralitici of the Puerto Rican Human Rights Committee as a donation to the Vieques ex-political prisoner José Pérez González. The donation of a thousand dollars was presented during the conference celebrating the 112th anniversary of the adoption of the Puerto Rican flag in New York and the 71st birthday of Assemblyman José Rivera. The Puerto Rican Human Rights Committee was in charge of sending the donation from the NBHRN to José Pérez who resides in Mayagüez

MISSION

The National Boricua Human Rights Network (NBHRN) is an organization composed of Puerto Ricans in the US and their supporters that educates and mobilizes the Puerto Rican community, the broader Latin American community and other people of conscience regarding issues of justice, peace and human rights. Our priorities include: (1) An end to the continuing political repression and criminalization of progressive sectors of the Puerto Rican community; and 2) The decontamination, development, and return of the island of Vieques to its people.
