Enrique Salgado Jr on his Humboldt Park Freedom Walk yesterday : This morning we walked and it was hard. This afternoon I walk with my family in solidarity with the Freedom Walk from Terre Haute, Ind. to Chicago. My goal for the day is 12 miles. To Micheal and Matt, I see your videos and I am humbled by the miles you are eating up. As a Puerto Rican I am forever grateful for your willingness. I also want to thank my family for walking with me and support this effort and in turn Oscar.
And today: Weds morning Solidarity Walk with the Freedom Walk in honor of Oscar Lopez Rivera. Yesterday I walked 6 miles in the morning and 5.5 in the evening fro a total of 11.5 miles. This morning meditating and praying with Oscar in mind I was able to get over small mental hurdles to walk 7 miles. Please support the Freedom walk by pledging at boricuahumanrights.org
