The night before his passing, thanks to his family and comrade Michael Novick, there was a beautiful festival of love and appreciation, attended on Zoom by over 100 friends, coworkers and comrades nationwide, including a large group of Latinx radio producers at the KPFK station. Lawrence was such a sweet soul, attentive listener, political unifier, someone who’d do anything to help people with whatever they needed, as many testified eloquently….
