This is a painting of Salvador Allende that I did to keep his example alive of what it is to be a principled human being who was willing to give his life for the nation and the people that he loved. Unfortunately, the United States government and General Pinochet destroyed his legacy which was the transformation of a real democratic system of government. This painting is in the office of Claridad Newspaper where no one can destroy it- Allende vive.
