The Freedom Walk, originated by Batey Urbano member Michael Reyes Benavides, was a 185 mile trek from Terre Haute, IN (where Oscar was incarcerated) to Humboldt Park, Chicago, that called attention to the campaign to free Oscar Lopez Rivera. Michael, joined by Matt McCanna, completed the walk over a 10 day period, and joined by many members of the campaign the final two days.
