Since Tuesday, July 14, former Puerto Rican political prisoner Alberto Rodríguez has been in intensive care, fighting pneumonia. Transferred recently to Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s ICU, and breathing with the help of a respirator, his family and intimate friends are at his bedside around the clock.
